- Before registering, placing an order, handing over a parcel or continuing to use a Wepozt service, the sender must read and understand these terms. Doing so constitutes acceptance of these terms and confirmation that the information provided is true, accurate and complete.
- Goods prohibited or restricted by law or national rules must not be shipped. These include, without limitation, illegal goods, flammable or explosive materials, prohibited drugs, precious items such as gold and silver, highly toxic substances, cheques, confidential documents, paintings, living organisms and any other prohibited or restricted goods. The sender must truthfully declare the name, nature, quantity and value of the goods and ensure that they are lawful, harmless and suitable for transport.
- Wepozt does not ordinarily open parcels for inspection. Where required for safety, regulatory compliance or reasonable suspicion that a parcel does not meet shipping rules, Wepozt may take necessary measures in accordance with law. The sender or other legally responsible party bears consequences caused by concealment, misdeclaration or unlawful goods, without limiting any responsibility Wepozt must bear under applicable law.
- The sender must package fragile goods properly and declare them accurately. Wepozt may offer paid reinforcement and packing. For an uninsured parcel, damage caused by the inherent fragility of the goods or insufficient packing is not treated as parcel loss, except where mandatory applicable law provides otherwise.
- If an uninsured parcel is lost in transit, the sender must provide the actual purchase receipt and valid evidence of the parcel contents and value. Once verified, compensation is capped at ten times the freight charge for that shipment and at no more than MMK 200,000. Compensation excludes expected profit, appreciation and other future gains.
- Where the outer packaging of an uninsured parcel is intact at delivery or acceptance but the contents are damaged, Wepozt is generally not liable for the damage unless it is established that the damage resulted from a cause for which Wepozt is legally responsible.
- Where both the outer packaging and contents of an uninsured parcel are damaged in transit, verified compensation is capped at ten times the freight charge for that shipment and at no more than MMK 200,000. Compensation excludes expected profit, appreciation and other future gains.
- Declared-value protection is recommended for high-value goods. The maximum declared value per shipment is MMK 1,000,000. Fees and applicable conditions should be confirmed through an officially published Wepozt contact channel, and the accepted declared-value record controls.
- If the outer packaging of an insured parcel is intact at delivery but the contents are partly damaged, compensation is not automatically the full declared value. Wepozt will assess valid proof of value, the actual extent of damage and the confirmed declared value.
- If an insured parcel is lost in transit, Wepozt will, after verification and subject to the declared-value conditions, compensate within the amount declared and confirmed by the customer.
- A parcel may be stored at a Wepozt warehouse free of charge for 240 hours. After that period, an additional storage charge may apply or the parcel may be returned to the sender, with resulting charges allocated under the applicable service rules.
- A refused or returned item will ordinarily be returned to the sender within 6 days from refusal or return for a same-city shipment, or within 12 days for an inter-city shipment. Reasonable delays caused by addressing issues, traffic, regulatory action or force majeure are excluded.
- Cash on delivery (COD) proceeds will ordinarily be remitted by the agreed method within 5 days after delivery is confirmed. Incorrect account information, bank processing, risk review, public holidays or dispute handling may affect the actual receipt time.
- A parcel's weight and volume are subject to Wepozt's verification when it enters the warehouse. If the information entered by the sender differs from the verified result, Wepozt will contact the sender through an official channel to confirm it.
- Where the actual weight and volumetric weight of one item differ materially, the higher value is charged. The volumetric divisor varies by region. Volumetric weight is calculated as (length in cm × width in cm × height in cm) ÷ 3000, 4000, 6000 or 8000, subject to the route and charging rule confirmed at acceptance.
- Standard door-to-door pickup and delivery are generally limited to the ground floor. Pickup or delivery of large or heavy goods on a higher floor must be arranged with Wepozt in advance and may incur an additional service charge.
- From Wepozt's receipt of a parcel until the recipient accepts it, ownership remains with the sender or other lawful rights holder. Wepozt possesses the parcel only to provide pickup, transport and delivery and does not acquire ownership of it.
- To the extent permitted by applicable law, Wepozt is not responsible for loss caused by natural disasters, government action, regulatory inspection, transport interruption or another event beyond its reasonable control, or by the recipient's custody or use after acceptance. These terms do not exclude any responsibility Wepozt must bear by law.
- Wepozt may amend these terms in response to laws, regulatory requirements, operating arrangements or natural disasters and will publish the amendment through an official page or service channel. Any mandatory applicable rule on consumer rights, service responsibility or compensation prevails over these terms.
